Effect of Eruca Sativa in Broiler Diet on Productivity

This experiment was conducted on 120 unsexed Cobb chicks of one day old for 28 days. Chicks wererandomly divided into 4 groups (30 each) and each group consists two replicates (15 each).All fed using a basal diet, but the first drunk water from tap as control, while otherdrunk with extract Eruca Sativa leaves (0.25, 0.50 0.75ml/Liter) respectively. study aimedto determine effect extraction broiler performance, some blood parametersand immune response to Newcastle virus. The result showed that supplementation dietwith sativa especially levels (0.25 0.50ml/L) significantly improve final bodyweight (P?0.05). weight gain also improved (P?0.05) but, there were no significantlychanges in internal organs pictures (WBCs, RBCs, Hb PCV respectively).
